ADVENTURE AWAITS IN SOUTH AFRICA
This trip was created with a hip and adventurous couple in mind! You'll experience the best of South Africa in two weeks, with amazing and unique experiences throughout.
Day 1. Arrive Cape Town
You'll be greeted and taken to your hotel - a boutique guesthouse in a fun neighborhood at the foot of Table Mountain, with bars, restaurants, shopping, art galleries and more right around the corner.
Day 2. Cape Town
You'll have this morning to sleep in and explore the city on your own; this afternoon, you'll have a guided hike up Table Mountain for amazing views of the city and the ocean. Take the cableway back down and have dinner at one of the city's excellent restaurants.
Day 3. Cape Town
Up early for a shark cage dive, where you'll get up close to Great White Sharks. This afternoon you can visit the local artisan markets.
Day 4. Cape Town
Your rental car will be delivered to your hotel; head out along the Cape Peninsula for beautiful scenery, African Penguins and more.
Day 5. Cape Winelands
Drive to the Cape Winelands today. You'll stay in an incredible historic farmhouse with a working organic farm and winery onsite. Dinner tonight is at the farm-to-table restuarant.
Day 6. Cape Winelands
Today you'll have a private guide take you to visit wineries and artisan food producers in the area, plus a gourmet picnic.
Day 7. Oudtshoorn
Head out for Oudtshoorn, a charming town famous for its ostrich farms, where you can ride an ostrich.
Day 8. Knysna
Continue along the spectacularly scenic Garden Route. Bungee jump off of the world's highest bungee bridge before traveling on to your hotel for the night.
Day 9. Knysna
Choose your own adventure - hiking, kayaking, kite surfing, skydiving, sailing and more are available in the area. Be sure to try the fresh local oysters!
Day 10. Jeffrey's Bay
Travel farther along the Garden Route, stopping at a cheetah rehabilitation center before ending in Jeffrey's Bay for an afternoon of surfing.
Day 11. Timbavati Private Nature Reserve
Return your car and fly to the Kruger National Park area for an incredible Big 5 safari. You'll stay in a classic safari camp, with luxury tents and a swimming pool.
Day 12. Timbavati Private Nature Reserve
You'll have twice-daily game drives and thrilling bush walks with the camp's expert guides. You may encounter lion, elephant, leopard, incredible birdlife and much much more.
Day 13. Timbavati Private Nature Reserve
More game viewing today - and tonight you'll sleep out under the stars, on a special platform built above the bush.
Day 14. Depart South Africa
After one last morning game drive, you'll begin your journey home.
